The founder is passionate about educating the community to the benefits of Chinese medicine and holistic wellness and getting people healthy naturally and affordably. She considers herself a holistic educator, catalyst and healer.
She is
#1 an educator because she teaches no enduring change can come for you without your first being well informed about your health needs and options.
#2 a catalyst because she knows how to inform, educate and support the needs of the individual in order to propel the rate of healing, change and creativity at a pace fast enough to be digested by the individual, without being consumed by the process.
#3 a healer because she has a passion for people and treating the whole person by addressing the structural and emotional aspects of health and illness.
She is a University of California at Los Angeles Sociology graduate and holistic practitioner in the healing arts. While she doesn't pound the table for God here, she does come at Chinese medicine, Holistic Health Care and Wellness from a decidedly spiritual perspective. She is an avid student of Chinese medicine and a Master's student in Acupuncture. She is a catalyst for healing and wellness and respects your path so you will not be asked to follow any specific dogma, only protocols and principles that produce results and resonate with you.
Nautilus Holistic Health honors the spirit of a Healer
Traditionally, Oriental healers were expected to know eight levels of healing.
These included:
~ Spiritual healing
~ Exercise
~ Diet
~ Geomancy (the art of placement)
~ Astrology
~ Massage
~ Herbology
~ Acupuncture
The healer’s education would include techniques of self-development and self-defense, as well as the tools of the trade. Qi gong (energy generation and circulation), tai ji, and meditation were practiced to maintain one’s own health and increase sensitivity.
“Physician, heal thyself” was their conviction. Our goal is to prevent, not just heal disease.
All of the body's energetic processes seek wholeness and to be cultivated and refined.
